ENFORCEMENT INVESTIGATIVE REPORT
Ms. Sprecher testified that Alain Kartuzinski was senior for Lisa (page 12, lines 19-22, deposition
transcript).
Ms. Sprecher stated that the introspection rundown for Lisa McPherson would have been organized and implemented by Alain Kartuzinski (page 13, lines 15-25, deposition transcript).
Ms. Sprecher testified, “I was asked by Alain Kartuzinski to have Janis come off of her new position and assist on Lisa McPherson’s care full time rather then on her own position” (page 15, lines 23-25, deposition transcript).
Ms. Sprecher was asked, “So you’re saying within that first week, you were requested by Mr.
Kartuzinski to put Janis on a... on a more full time...” and she answered “Uh-huh” (page 16, lines
13-16, deposition transcript).
Ms. Sprecher testified that Alain Kartuzinski was in charge of Lisa’s watch (page 17, lines 21-25 and page 18, lines 1-18, deposition transcript).
Ms. Sprecher testified that Janis Johnson’s administering injections and medicines to Lisa was not proper procedure (page 28, lines 20-25 and page 29, lines 1-25, deposition transcript).
Ms. Sprecher was asked, “Who would have the authority to send Lisa to a hospital?” and she replied “Alain” (page 30, lines 18-24, deposition transcript).
On May 6, 1997, Asher Samuel Ghiora testified at deposition as a result of a State Attorney’s subpoena.
Mr. Ghiora testified that he did not have the authority to release Lisa (page 40, lines 19-25, deposition transcript).
On May 6, 1997, Michael Arthur Stewart Baxter testified at deposition as a result of a State Attorney’s subpoena.
Mr. Baxter testified that Alain Kartuzinski called him from the Morton Plant Hospital saying that Lisa was being brought to the Ft. Harrison (page 11, lines 13-24, deposition transcript).
Mr. Baxter testified “Alain requested that the attendants would write a daily report on whatever occurred, and I don’t know how many reports were written, I know some reports were written, and those reports were given to Alain” (page 20, lines 14-18, deposition transcript).
Mr. Baxter said that Alain Kartuzinski’s position of case supervision necessitated his getting reports (page 21, lines 22-25, deposition transcript).
