FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT INVESTIGATIVE REPORT
On May 27, 1997, Marcus Quirino testified at deposition as the result of a State Attorney’s
subpoena.
Mr. Quirino testified to having a discussion with Alain Kartuzinski concerning Lisa’s watch (page 28, lines 8-13, deposition transcript).
Mr. Quirino testified that reports from the caretakers were routed to Alain Kartuzinski’s office (page 32, lines 10-16, deposition transcript).
Mr. Quirino testified that Kartuzinski would read the caretaker’s reports and, based on what he read, would give instructions back to the watch (page 34, lines 24-25 and page 35, lines 1-2, deposition transcript).
Mr. Quirino testified that shots being administered to Lisa would have to be approved by either Janis Johnson or Alain Kartuzinski (page 87, lines 3-9, deposition transcript).
On May 7, 1997, Teresa Hayde Cezare testified at deposition as the result of a State Attorney’s subpoena.
Ms. Cezare testified that she wrote reports to the C/S (Case Supervisor, Alain Kartuzinski) (page 15, lines 15-16, deposition transcript).
Ms. Cezare testified that Laura Arrunada was the “Assistant” to Janis Johnson (page 22, lines 23- 25, deposition transcript).
On May 27, 1997, Lacey Spencer testified at deposition as the result of a State Attorney’s

Ms. Spencer testified that the caretakers were reporting back to Alain Kartuzinski (page 10, lines 23-25 and page 11, lines
1-6, deposition transcript).
Ms. Spencer was asked, “So did you make regular stops down at the cabana during your circulations around the building?” She replied “Normally, he (Alain Kartuzinski) asked me to go down there to... he’d want to find out how she was doing. And I’d go... most of the days... it
was
about twice a day, like, once in the early afternoon, once in the evening, like, a little past dinner (page 11, lines 14-20, deposition transcript).
Ms. Spencer testified that Alain Kartuzinski would write out questions for her concerning Lisa’s condition. She would go to the cabanas and have these questions answered (page 12, lines 6-25, deposition transcript).
