MR. CROW: We were told we were going to be
supplied people who did the initial search. It’s only
been a week. I don’t know if you’re intending --
obviously, this man doesn’t know This man didn’t
start looking for records until they’re already gone.
I’ll tell you what I’m concerned with. When
we have sworn testimony these records existed, we get
half of them, to me I do not feel comfortable until
I’ve eliminated the possibility that someone has
intentionally destroyed them. I’m not suggesting you
did or the attorneys did that.
MS. VAUGHAN: I hope not.
MR. CROW: But I certainly am not generally
inclined for any person who’s under investigation to
simply say, well, gee, we asked for somebody to look
for them, but it doesn’t appear to me that anybody has
any idea, from what the witnesses said that we have so
