                          FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT
                                   INVESTIGATIVE REPORT

   This investigative report is regarding investigative assistance provided by the Florida Department
   of Law Enforcement (FDLE) to the Clearwater Police Department (CPD) who are investigating the
   suspicious death of LISA McPHERSON W/F 02/10/1959.

   During the week of 3 March 1997 Special Agent (SA) Sharon L. Feola was assigned investigative
   lead associated with AMC Publishing Company. Victim LISA McPHERSON was employed at
   AMC Publishing during the time of her death.  It is had been confirmed via several AMC
   employees the majority of the individuals employed by the Company are members of the Church
   of Scientology.  Analytical information concerning AMC Publishing was obtained via Criminal
   Intelligence Analysts (CIA) at FDLE Tampa Bay Regional Operations Center (TBROC) and was
   provided to SA Feola. Further, background information was requested regarding the registered
   president and directors of AMC Publishing, DAVID and BENNETTA SLAUGHTER and JEFF
   SCHAFFNER.

   The following corporations have or are presently associated with AMC Publishing and/or DAVID
   and BENNETTA SLAUGHTER et al.:

                                   1- AMC Publishing Corporation
                                   2- Prodex Corporation
                                   3- Thetacorp, Inc.
                                   4- Financial Products Group, Inc.

   AMC Publishing Corporation relocated to Clearwater, Florida from Dallas, Texas in December of
   1993.
   This will concluded investigative activity regarding AMC Publishing and clears lead #20.

   The following information will be maintained in the 1A section of the case file:

          1)     Analytical information regarding AMC Publishing Company et al.
          2)     Analytical information regarding Bennetta and David Slaughter.
          3)     Analytical information regarding Jeffrey Lee Schaffner.
